Sr. Staff Reading Group: "Reforming Criminal Justice, A Christian Proposal" with Matthew Martens

This month's Senior Hill staff Reading Group will be discussing criminal justice reform, with guest speaker Matthew Martens.

Matthew Martens is a trial lawyer and partner at an international law firm in Washington, DC. He graduated first in his class both at the University of North Carolina School of Law and at Dallas Theological Seminary. Matt has spent the bulk of his more than 27-year legal career practicing criminal law both as a federal prosecutor and as a defense attorney. Early in his career, he served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William Rehnquist at the U.S. Supreme Court. He is the author of a recent book entitled, Reforming Criminal Justice: A Christian Proposal (Crossway, 2023).
