Luke Murry serves as House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy’s National Security Advisor, advising the Leader and helping shape Republican positions on the full range of foreign policy and defense issues facing the country. Previously, he served as the Staff Director of the Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade Subcommittee for the House Foreign Affairs Committee and in two Congressional offices, where he focused on reforming foreign assistance and protecting victims of sexual assault. Mr. Murry holds a M.A. degree with honors in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with a B.A. degree in Political Science and minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures.
