House Reading Group: A Nation of Christians Is Not Necessarily a Christian Nation

Rayburn Cafeteria

Join us at 12:00 PM on January 27th in the Rayburn Cafeteria as we examine two articles. In the first article "A Nation of Christians Is Not Necessarily a Christian Nation", David French argues that America was never a Christian Nation and that we should be wary of “Christian Nationalism.” Responding to French’s article, Ross Douthat argues in "Contra French on Christianity's Decline" that Christians have good reasons to lament the decline of Christianity in America.

I think these articles will create a lively yet good faith discussion on the purpose and history of Christianity in public life.

Food will be provided, but bring your own drink. Please RSVP by COB Tuesday so we can plan food accordingly.
