2021 Leadership Retreat
This fall, Faith and Law and the Clapham Group are hosting a leadership retreat for policy makers and we hope you will be a part of this impactful weekend. The retreat will be from October 29 - 31 at the Airlie Hotel and Conference Center in Warrenton, VA, 50 miles west of Capitol Hill.
Accommodations, meals, and a standard mileage reimbursement for your personal vehicle will be provided.
We invite spouses to fully participate in all trip activities and are offering to pay for travel expenses for spouses. If you are a staffer with children, you will have the opportunity to bring your children as long as you pay for their childcare and other expenses.
Staffers who have attended past annual retreats still talk about the lifelong friendships and relationships formed, legislative collaboration that followed, and the impact it had on their spouses' understanding of their unique role in the call to Capitol Hill.
Visit our House and Senate Guidelines page for additional instructions and links to forms you'll need to submit in order to receive pre-authorization from the Senate/House Committee on Ethics.
This year's retreat theme will be "Navigating the Times" and will feature local Christian thought-leaders on topics including "Cancel Culture v. Principled Pluralism", "Being Anti Racist; Reviewing Critical Race Theory" and "Christian Nationalism v. Christian Patriotism". Click here for our retreat schedule and here to read our speaker bios.
PLEASE RSVP ONLINE ASAP. House and Senate Ethics forms MUST be submitted by September 29 at the latest as you cannot attend the retreat if the forms are not submitted at least 30 days ahead of time.
A separate, more detailed itinerary will be sent to your emails as we approach October. For questions regarding Faith and Law, please contact email@example.com.
