Overview

This fall, Faith and Law is hosting a retreat for senior House and Senate staffers and we hope you will be a part of this impactful weekend. The retreat will be held on October 29 - 31 at the charming and historic Airlie Hotel and Conference Center in Warrenton, VA, 50 miles west of Capitol Hill.

This retreat is intended for Senior Hill staff and their families. It is our desire for spouses to fully participate in all aspects of the retreat and for families to have the opportunity to get to know one another. Staffers who have attended past annual retreats still talk about the lifelong friendships and relationships formed, legislative collaboration that followed, and the impact it had on their spouses' understanding of their unique role in the call to Capitol Hill.

As a guest, Faith and Law will provide accommodations, meals, and a standard mileage reimbursement for your personal vehicle, but, per House and Senate Ethics guidelines, Faith and Law is NOT allowed to pay for any SENATE staff spouse's expenses. We will be offering kids programing during all retreat sessions for a small feel as Faith and Law is NOT allowed to pay for children’s expenses. This year's retreat theme will be "Navigating the Times" and will feature local Christian thought-leaders on topics including "Cancel Culture v. Principled Pluralism", "Being Anti Racist; Reviewing Critical Race Theory" and "Christian Nationalism v. Christian Patriotism". Click here for our retreat schedule and here to read our speaker bios.
